Jamaica's Most Wanted Killed

Yesterday, October 30, 2005 the security forces shot and killed Donovan ‘Bulbie’ Bennett, Jamaica’s most wanted man. Bennett the leader of the ‘Clansman’ gang of Spanish Town, St. Catherine has been on the police most wanted list for over 10 years. Also shot and killed is Bennett’s driver known only as Nathan.
The two were killed in a joint police military operation outside the Clarendon community Tanaky near Rock River.
Based on intelligence that the gang leader and other criminals were hiding at the premises in Tanaky District the security forces conducted a raid at 5:00am Sunday morning. Reports are that on their approach they were fired on and a shoot-out ensued. Both Bennett and Nathan were shot and killed.

Follow up:

A 44 Desert Eagle semi-automatic pistol, four rounds and a Ruger 9mm pistol were taken from the dead men. Their bodies were taken away by helicopter to an undisclosed location for security reasons. One female present in the house at the time of the raid was also taken into custody.
Residents in the community were under the impression that the house was being built by a returning resident. The grand two story, seven-bedroom house over looks the Rio Minho. It was built with several water tanks operated by a water pump system and a stand by electric generator. Bennett is also reported to own seven other premises in Kingston, St. Catherine and Clarendon, which were also searched.
Bennett was wanted for several murders, shootings, extortion and other serious crimes committed in Spanish Town, Old Harbour, Portmore, St. Catherine, May Pen and Clarendon.
In 1995 former St. Catherine Member of Parliament Heather Robinson had spoken against the ‘Clansman’ gang leader after he had sought her patronage and sponsorship to become the “leading Don in Jamaica”. Over the years she has continued to speak out against political toleration of gangs.
Today Spanish Town was in turmoil. Since last night three policemen have been shot. Residents have been advised to stay away from the center of town by the police. The gunmen however are forcing them to take to the streets in protest or their houses will be burnt. Several roads are blocked and sporadic gunshots can be heard.
It's now 5:00pm and persons working in Kingston who live in Spanish Town and beyond are worried as to what awaits them on their way home.

The Small Sandal Shop

A married couple was on holiday in Jamaica. They were touring around the marketplace looking at the goods when they passed this small sandal shop.

From inside they heard the shopkeeper with a Jamaican accent say, "You!

Foreigners! Come in, come into my humble shop."

So the married couple walked in.

The Jamaican said to them, "I have some special sandals I think you would be interested in. They make you wild at sex."

Well, the wife was really interested in buying the sandals after what the man claimed, but her husband felt he really didn't need them, being the sex god he was.

The husband asked the man, "How could sandals make you into a sex freak?"

The Jamaican replied, "Just try them on."

Well, the husband, after some badgering from his wife, finally gave in, and tried them on. As soon as he slipped them onto his feet, he got this wild look in his eyes, something his wife hadn't seen in many years!

In the blink of an eye, the husband grabbed the Jamaican, bent him

violently over a table, yanked down his pants, ripped down his own pants, and grabbed a firm hold of the Jamaican's hips.

The Jamaican then began screaming; "YOU GOT THEM ON THE WRONG FEET!!!"
