CRUEL GOVERNMENT

Post contributed by Courtney Kenlock

I am not advocate abuse of power by the authorities, I just want justice for everyone in this country but this seems far fetch. This is about the 4th time since Patterson is in charge that this cruel injustice has been meted out to the people of Tivoli. We want persons who are honest, trustworthy, sincere, just and have the country’s interest at heart to run the country. I am presently asking the people of Jamaica “TO REMOVE THIS CRUEL GOVERNMENT” from power. They have been in power for too long and have become complacent and crude. Any measures necessary must be employed to remove Patterson from office. I am not joking, this is too much now.

Follow up:

Please people look into “yourselves” and see what a black man is doing to our people. In the days of slavery it was our very same black persons who ill-treated us. What is really happening is not very different from those days. Patterson and his colleagues in politics need to deal with crime which is affecting the development of the country which they refuse to deal with. The reason is that this is a very CORRUPT GOVERNMENT” which only want to deliver political spoils to there comrades and cronies. They are not interest in addressing scourge of crime and don’t want to deal with this crime situation. This is a deliberate attempt by them to say that they love poor people as they can use these thugs to win 5 elections and keep most of the people illiterate. They are saying they have to “run wid it” as they are not prepared to live without the spoils of politics.

I will support any move whichever to remove this corrupt government, it must and should be removed from power and I feel passionate about the matter. People I am begging for it now stand up for justice of our poor black people. Patterson should go immediately or tomorrow.

Three Ministers

Three ministers - a Presbyterian, a Methodist, and a Southern Baptist and their wives were all on a cruise together. A tidal wave came up and swamped the ship, and they all drowned. The next thing you know, they're standing before St.Peter.

As fate would have it, the first in line was the Presbyterian and his wife. St. Peter shook his head sadly and said, "I can't let you in. You were moral and upright, but you loved money too much. You loved it so much, you even married a woman named Penny."

St.Peter waved sadly, and poof! Down the chute to the 'Other Place' they went. Then came the Methodist. "Sorry, can't let you in either," said Saint Peter "You abstained from liquor and dancing and cards, but you loved food too much.

You loved food so much, you even married a woman named Candy!" Sadly, St. Peter waved again, and whang! Down the chute went the Methodists.

The Southern Baptist turned to his wife and whispered nervously, "It ain't looking good, Fanny."
